Last month, we ran our [AGI Strategy Course turned Incubator](https://bluedot.org/blog/a-bluedot-incubator-v1). Seven participants spent five days in our London office. From this batch we backed Exona - a new startup building dynamic risk pricing for AI models - with a £50k grant. They've since raised more, work from our co-working space, and are already hiring.

### Today we're announcing v2 of incubator week.

At BlueDot, we've trained over 5,000 people since 2022. We launched our courses to build the workforce needed to make AI go well. But training isn't enough. There simply aren't enough organizations with the ambition, scale, and speed to make sure AI goes well. We need new organizations, not just more people flowing into existing ones. Incubator week means we can help the best founders build the companies and organizations the world needs.

### How it works:

We're inviting the strongest, most entrepreneurial participants from our AGI Strategy Course - people who've already proven they can think rigorously about AI risks. If selected, we fly you to London and host you for the week, all expenses paid.

Here's the (preliminary) structure:

- Monday: You'll develop step-by-step models of how threats to the future might develop. We'll focus on deep problem space exploration, not surface-level takes. You'll identify top experts in your area.
- Tuesday-Wednesday: You'll build and iterate on your intervention ideas. What can actually move the needle on the problems you've identified? What can be implemented and scaled? By the end of Tuesday, we expect you to have called top experts working on this problem. On Wednesday we're hosting a broader community social in the evening.
- Thursday: You'll create your pitch for a high-impact new organization.
- Friday: You're pitching to us for funding.

Throughout the week, you'll work from our office at LISA alongside Apollo Research, Workshop Labs, and other leading organizations and researchers. We'll also be bringing in founders, funders, and experts to accelerate your work.

So far we've received over 2,000 applications. When it comes to incubator week we're looking for people with strong buildery energy, clear problem thinking and a focus on mitigating AI risk.

Our next incubator week runs November 17-21. v3 will be running from December 1-5.
